After that, you’ll participate in the Brightspark Tour Leader training program. The program fully prepares you for ‘life on the road’ and will develop your group management and public speaking skills. Paid training occurs in Toronto on weekends in March and April.
The position of Tour Leader requires strict availability. You must be available to come to Toronto for the training sessions over weekends in March, and attend two training trips over weekends (to Ottawa, Quebec City and Montreal) in April. Tour Leaders are also required to have full availability starting the last week of April through to the end of June, when you will be on tour 3 – 5 days per week.
